Even now, before we know who he is, we must love him greatly since he will suffer much for Jesus. I refer to the pope to come who will finally obey our Lady of Fatima’s request to consecrate Russia in union with all of his bishops – those who will obey him. It is for him that so many prayers and sacrifices were offered by the little children of Fatima, but especially by Jacinta:
“[T]he thought of the Holy Father was the constant preoccupation of Jacinta. Probably because the Secret had taught her how great the deficiencies of the Popes would be, and what persecutions would have to be endured by the one who finally accomplishes the requests of Our Lady. ‘Jacinta felt so much love towards the Holy Father that each time she would offer her sacrifices to Jesus, she would add: “And for the Holy Father”.’ “

Do not lose hope. God keeps His promises and we will finally see the magnificent era of godly peace, but not before great sufferings yet to come. It has to be that way in order to bring mankind to repentance. God wants to save souls. The punishments he inflicts on his rebellious people are only for our purification as we know from the Scriptures. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and our hopes are founded on God, not on man nor his “solutions”!
Pray much that God grant us the grace of the Holy Pope who will love Christ, His Holy Mother and all of humanity, enough to risk his life in obedience to them. Love this mysterious figure presently known only to God!
