Institute of Christ the King News

Update:  Here are some photos from Offerimus Tibi Domine.

Bishop Davies assists from the throne at the Shrine Church of Ss Peter and Paul and St Philomena in New Brighton, Wirral, at the Mass of March 24, 2012.

God bless  the ICR, and Bishop Mark Davies!  May their efforts bestow great blessings upon  England and Wales!

Michael Davies, I am sure, must be smiling from above!

I have a holy envy of you, Janine! But to those who have received more, more shall be expected of them. : -) Please pray for us. I only dream of what it would be like to have a weekly TLM in my area, specially so during Holy Week.

I enjoyed this link about a week ago. My preschool (Our Lady of Sorrows-Snoqualmie) partners with the 4th Graders at St. Joseph School and the elementary school celebrated the feast day of their patron sint at our church. I was able to attend and the new priest from St Joseph, (please keep him-Father Todd Strange- and his good work in prayer) led the 4th through 8th graders in the Litany of St. Joseph. It was fabulous; the first time I have ever heard it said in our church in the 20 + years I’ve attended until now.
The children sang the Sanctus and Agnus Dei in Latin. The sermon was excellent. Boy was i glad to have stayed after preschool for mass. Good things are happening in the Pacific North West!
At my FSSP parish, North American Martyrs, there will be high masses on monday through Wednesday of Holy Week as well as the Thurs, Fri, Sat Sun masses. Father Saguto just finished a series of pre mass 1 hour talks on the parables and families filled the cafeteria to attend them, before going to rosary and the following mass. It’s great to have these opportunities for adult education. What a wonderful time to be Catholic.
    May God bless us all!
    Jeanine
