Perhaps readers are already familiar with the trickery of the Imam at the Vatican’s ecumenical prayer service for peace on the day of Pentecost. It has been said that prayers were offered that “Allah” would grant the Muslims victory over us, the “infidel”. The Imam quoted the last prayer of the Surah Baqara which calls for Islam to reign supreme over all the non-Muslims.
I just received this in my e-mail box, and I thought it worth sharing. It appears that someone in the Vatican has edited the video by cutting out the incriminating part of the “prayer”.
“However, a reader and commenter named ritamalik — who is a former Muslim and understands Arabic — tells us that a portion of the video has been edited out, and the omitted section included the verse asking Allah to grant victory over the infidels.”

There is another article here from which I take the following quote:
“On June 12th, Vatican Radio acknowledges the Palestinian Imam recited the controversial Qur’an passage but said it doesn’t matter, one has to understand how Muslims pray. “

Well, everyone knows how Catholics pray, so why didn’t the pope pray a few Hail Mary’s, and also offer invocations to the most Holy Trinity?
